I use them as my base layer for long distance running 7 days a week all year-long. The fabric is smooth and eliminates chafing under the arms. I have very sun sensitive skin, and I've never gotten burned, even on multi hour long summer runs in the California sunshine. I've worn these shirts from sub zero temperatures all the way up to 100+ degree summer runs, and they have held up fantastically.
