Q1: Do I need to activate the SIM card before inserting the device?
A1: The SIM card does not require any contract or activation. Prepaid cards are already programmed with APN on most security cameras and simply need to be plugged into the device to connect. For devices such as routers/trackers, the APN needs to be updated. Please read the device manual for instructions on cellular components.
Q2: Is there any difference between this Double Network SIM card V2.0 and the old one?
A2: This Dual-Network SIM Card V2.0 has an APN of "america.bics", based on US web servers with lower latency, and supports US 5G high-speed network.
Q3: Can I send SMS?
A3: EIOTCLUB SIM card is for data plan only, it has no phone number and cannot be used for texting and calling. For customers who only need a data plan, this is the best option for purchasing data!
Q4: Can I use this SIM card in the UK?
A4: This 5G/4G LTE SIM Card is supported for use in the US. If you need data service abroad, you can choose a Global SIM card in-store.
Q5: Why does the screen say SIM card not supported when I insert it into my iphone 15?
A5: SIM cards can be used on unlocked devices. If your phone is tethered to a carrier phone, it may show that the SIM card is not valid, try using another unlocked phone. Settings/Cellular/SIM => EIOTCLUB => data roaming is turned on
Q6: Can I use this card on 2G GPS tracker?
A6: Our SIM cards do not support 2G networks and only work with unlocked 4G/5G devices. If you are not sure if the device is unlocked, please consult the seller of the device.
Q7: The connection to my device is unstable, what should I do?
A7: The SIM card supports the two major carriers in the US, AT&T/T-Mobile, and it will automatically select the carrier with the best local signal, but the network used will also be affected by the frequency bands supported by the device.
