Our universal replacement rocker glide inserts for stacking chairs are designed specifically to replace your worn out, existing parts. Over time, the feet on commercial stack chairs wear out from friction. The plastic degrades and you’re left with usually a sharp metal frame that will scratch and scuff your floors. These chair parts are designed for use with all types of commercial stacking furniture. Our ribbed chair glide is designed to be used with standard stacking chairs that use a square steel frame between 18-25 gauge with an outside measurement of approximately 3/4″, 7/8″, or 1″ square. This encompasses most stack chairs in the banquet industry. The ribbed design ensures a tight fit on a wide range of chairs. Simply remove your old foot using basic hand tools. We find a pair of vice grips and a little elbow grease usually suffices to remove your damaged foot. In other cases, gently prying the old glide out with a screwdriver may work better. Once the original foot is removed, simply place our chair part in the opening and gently tap in place with rubber mallet. You can use a hammer, just be careful, you don’t want to damage the insert.
